My sister informed me that new residents of the mansion are expected to introduce themselves on this journal system. Greetings to all, I am Medusalith Amaquelin of Attilan, but most people call me Medusa. And, fitting enough, my power has to do with control of my hair. That is what occurs when a mutant with the gift of precognition tells your parents what your abilities will be prior to your birth.

I will be attending Columbia University in the fall, which I have just realized means that courses begin this Tuesday. Are there any other individuals who live here that will be attending Columbia?

Crystal has told me a lot about Xavier's and all the residents, so I am curious to see how her descriptions will match up with my experiences.

I always feel vaguely stilted and awkward replying to these. I'm not really sure why.

Anyhow. My name is Doug Ramsey. I work at the Snow Valley Memorial Center here in the city, along with several other former students and faculty, like Amanda. I still come back to the mansion on a fairly regular basis (if nothing else, it's fun to harass Forge), though, so you'll likely see me around.

Hello Doug. Introductions in person are much easier. It is difficult on a system such as this to have things come across in the right tone, as words said out loud are not always understood the same way when they are written. I am guessing then that the Snow Valley Memorial Center is another of the opportunities for graduates Scott was telling me about, like Elpis.

It is nice to know that former graduates continue to want to come back and visit the mansion. Harassing the security specialist does not seem like a smart decision though.

Yeah, Snow Valley's a mutant think tank, set up at the start of the year to provide research and information on mutants to governments and non-profit organisations and the media and the rest of it. We've had about... five? graduates and former staff members come over from the school. If you're interested in finding out more, there's the website Doug designed, plus like he said, we tend to drop over at the school every so often. Visiting friends, exchaning information and the like. I drive a mini-van to and from New York on Saturdays to give the students a chance to get off campus without having to make their own arrangements transport-wise.

And don't mind Doug and Forge. It's one of those rivallry things, a bit more friendly than it used to be. *grins*
